The interior adopts a semi-cylindrical concrete structure. The direction of the up and down stairs is perpendicular to each other, making the main fortress more stable. After the arrival of the British, the original gray and red city is painted into a red wall and will also be pointed. The roof was changed to a platform type, two corner buildings were added in the northeast and southwest corners, and a terrace was built on the south side of the second floor. The terrace also had a stunner and a shotgun, and was guarded by a high guard to prevent intruders from intruding; it was located on the east side of Hongmaocheng.
